Library Yo Puedo
On the corner across the street from our home in Granada is the free public library “Yo Puedo” (“I can”) operated by the Building New Hope organization. There are activities for kids here on Saturdays: Lois has read books to the kids a number of Saturday mornings, and on one Saturday she ran a drawing workshop. That included reading to the kids first, and then encouraging them to express their artistic creativity. These photos show Lois reading the story and then the kids doing their drawings. At the conclusion, the drawings were posted on the wall, and the kids showed them to their parents.
